Good afternoon. This is a solemn day and also a rejoicing day for me, but the solemn part I want to share with you. As many of you know, Representative Wayne Rosenthal, his wife Marcia, passed away on Sunday. We want to remember Wayne and his three sons and family in prayer, so we're going to do that today. And also on a lighter note, 52 years ago today at 2 o'clock, my wife and I started going together. She was in eighth grade. I was a sophomore in high school. On a dirt basketball court, she wouldn't be on my team because she said I was a ball hog. So we're going to remember Wayne's family in prayer, and you might want to pray for my wife too. Lord, I thank you for this day, and I thank you that we can call upon you in times of joyous times and times of sorrow. And we call upon you today on behalf of Wayne and his family. We thank you for Marsha's life. I thank you for her work that she did in health care and all the different things that she did. And I pray God that you would be with Wayne this day and give him comfort, not just today, but the days forward and also for his children. And I thank you that we can again call upon you and you hear and answer our prayers and you comfort us and you give us not only wisdom and direction on this house floor but we can call upon you for whatever we might need And we don beg but we ask Lord And so today I asking you to touch Wayne and his family And, Lord, I thank you for my wife and our family. And I thank you for the blessings that you bestowed upon us. And I pray again that you'd be with us on this house floor. This week is going to be busy, as you know, Lord. But I know that with you there's nothing that's impossible, no big tasks, nothing that goes beyond without being able to, a task being able to be taken care of and be addressed. So again, give us wisdom and direction on this floor in committees. Again, I thank you for that in your name. Amen.
