Sure. This amendment simply clarifies that the bill's requirements are limited only to the sale or issuance of rental home marketplace guarantees and that the bill is not to be construed as limiting any law pertaining to the business of insurance and any other transaction. The amendment has been distributed to the members, so this is basically a clarifying amendment.

I believe I communicated with most of you over the weekend. This amendment is to expand and clarify an oversight from last year's House Bill 403, which created a dispute resolution process between trucking companies and towing companies and storage facilities after an accident. So what this amendment simply does is allow those disputes to occur in common police courts, in addition to municipal courts and county courts, which is current law. So happy to answer any questions that the committee may have. Any questions on the

Thank you, Chair. The amendment comes from conversations between Senator Ling and the sponsor regarding funding in the bill. It specifies that the bill's requirements apply only to the extent that funds are appropriated to assist in meeting those requirements.
