Thank you. meeting today in room 2200 of the O Street building. Sergeants, please contact any absent members and have them come down to the hearing room so that we could begin with our file. We have 44 measures on today's agenda, all but one of which meet the criteria for referral to the suspense file. The authors for all suspense bills have waived presentation as usual. We will be taking testimony from the public on every item. The Department of Finance has notified us that they will not be joining us today since they do not have any comments on any of the bills before the committee this morning. Before we begin I want to remind any witnesses to limit their testimony to the fiscal aspects of the bill. Please refrain from lengthy policy discussions and repeating prior testimony in your comments. Before we begin today's hearing on the measures before us let's establish a quorum. Madam Assistant please call the roll. Cervantes? Cervantes here. Cervantes here. Ciarto? Here. Ciarto here. Cabaldon? Here. Cabaldon here. Dally? Grayson? Here. Grayson here. Richardson? Here. Richardson here. Wahab. A quorum has been established. Now we will move on to the business of the day. SB 867 is a suspense file candidate and Senator Padilla has way presentation. So, members, I'd like to take a moment to move ahead of our agenda today since we do have a quorum and allow Senator Cabaldon to present SB 1106 pertaining to data brokers, which is eligible for a due pass motion. Welcome, Senator Cabaldon. You may begin when you are ready.

Senator Christopher Cabaldonsenator

Thank you, Madam Chair. SB 1106 merely shortens the time frame by which data brokers must comply with a user's request to delete their data from their system from 45 days to 30 days. The technology now exists. It was not as clear when the act was originally passed. It doesn't involve any new cost to the agency other than when it does its regular updates of its regulatory system. So no fiscal impact. And I would respectfully ask an aye vote.

Thank you, Senator Cobaldin. Are there any individuals in the room who'd like to testify in support of SB 1106? Any individuals who'd like to testify in oppositions to SB 1106?
