What It Is

Transcripts
Many legislative hearings are published only as video. Gavelin produces text transcripts that can be read, searched, and used with a screen reader.
Speaker attribution
Each statement is linked to the legislator or witness who made it, so a search shows who said something, in which committee, and on what date.
Bills
Bill records from all 50 states sit in the same search as the transcripts, so a bill and the hearings where it came up can be found together.

Audio is transcribed and each statement is matched to the legislator or witness who made it, using the chamber's own roster.

Transcripts and bills go into a screen-reader-friendly archive that can be searched on the web or queried by AI tools over MCP.

Anyone can search Gavelin at gavelin.ai. The same archive is available through a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, which lets Claude and other AI assistants look up bills and hearing testimony directly.
